Privacy Policy

GetTradeLicense publishes contractor and trade licensing requirements for all 51 US jurisdictions. This page explains what is collected when you visit, and what deliberately is not.

What we do not collect

It is shorter to start here. This site has:

• No user accounts and no logins.
• No payments, and no payment processor.
• No email capture — no newsletter, no gated download, no lead form.
• No contact form that stores submissions; correspondence is by email only.
• No sponsored placements or paid rankings. Affiliate links are disclosed below and are always labelled.

We never ask for your name, address, phone number or any other identifying detail, so we hold no such records to lose, sell or disclose.

What is collected

Third-party analytics run on every page. We use them in aggregate — to see which pages are read and which states people look up — not to identify individuals.

• Google Analytics 4(G-N6MMYZW7KP) records page views, approximate location (usually city-level, derived from IP), device and browser type, referring site, and interactions such as which links are clicked. Google’s handling is governed by itsprivacy policy.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram advertising measurement) is active on this site. It sets cookies and reports page views to Meta, which may use them to measure or target advertising. You can limit this in yourMeta ad preferences.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to your browser’s local storage. Any cookies present come from the third-party analytics above. Blocking them in your browser, or using an ad blocker or Do Not Track, will not stop you reading anything here — there is no gated content and nothing that depends on being tracked.

Affiliate links

Some pages link to exam-preparation study materials sold by a third party. If you follow one of those links and buy something, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These links are labelled where they appear. We do not sell your data to the merchant, and the merchant does not receive your identity from us — only the fact that a visit arrived from this site. Following one is entirely optional; every fact on this site is free and un-gated.

Your choices

• Block analytics with your browser’s tracking protection or any ad blocker.
• Email info@gettradelicense.com with any question about data from your visit.

Because we hold no identifying information, we generally cannot locate “your” data to export or delete it — there is nothing tied to you to find. Write to us anyway if you believe otherwise and we will look.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not backdate it.
