Arizona has reciprocity agreements with 3 states. These agreements may allow you to skip certain trade exams when applying for a license in those states, or when applying for a Arizona license with credentials from those states.

Trade exam waived if CA license active 5+ years
Trade exam waived via licensure by endorsement if actively licensed in AZ for 4+ years with no disciplinary actions
Licensure by endorsement available for general contractors licensed in AZ for 1+ years in good standing; business and law exam may be waived

Licensed contractors with 5+ years of licensure may qualify for trade exam waiver. Must still pass the Arizona Statutes and Rules Exam and meet all other requirements.
