West Virginia Contractor License Reciprocity
West Virginia has reciprocity agreements with 2 states. These agreements may allow you to skip certain trade exams when applying for a license in those states, or when applying for a West Virginia license with credentials from those states.

HVAC contractor reciprocity. No waiting period. Must apply through HACR.
Electrical license reciprocity — equivalent West Virginia electrical licenses accepted.
Trade exam waiver for licensed Ohio contractors in HVAC and plumbing. Must still meet all other OCILB requirements including Business and Law exam.
Trade exam waiver. Must pass TN Business & Law exam.
Reciprocity for journeyman and master electrician tradesman licenses

Reciprocity for Electrical, General Building, HVAC, Multi-Family, Plumbing, Residential, and Sprinkler/Fire Protection classifications. Must pass WV Business and Law exam. Must meet financial and insurance requirements and provide official license verification from Tennessee.
